今日、面接日の確定メールが届きました！！いつも通りJoelとチャットをして、また明日ねーってバイバイした10分後。。。私たちがシェアしているメールのインボックスに、「TOKYO IV」という差出人から、「K Visa Appointment Letter」というタイトルでメールが来ました！！
そして、めでたく私たちの希望通り、1月18日に決まりました！これで恐らく2月の末には無事に渡米できそう！！！面接がそれより遅くなると、仕事の関係で早くても3月末の渡米になりそうだったので、それだけは避けたかった。。。遠距離は本当に辛いです！！早くJoelと一緒に暮らしたい。。。；―；
眠りに落ちかけていたJoelをスカイプで叩き起こし笑、二人で大喜びしました☆
ちなみに、本来なら
①DS-230を受理しました、というお知らせメール
②面接日が確定しました、というお知らせメール
という順番に大使館から連絡がある様なのですが、私の場合は①がすっとんでいます。。。無事届いていることが簡易書留のトラッキングで明らかなので気になりませんが☆:)
浜崎あゆみが元旦にアメリカで「入籍」したらしいけど、「そもそも日本人である浜崎あゆみが観光ビザでアメリカに入国してそのまま結婚できるわけがない。。。これが本当んなら完全にvisa fraudじゃないんだろうか？」と思っていたのですが、VWPで入国して、必ずアメリカにそのまま留まることなく日本に帰国するという確固たる証拠があれば、VWPで入国し結婚することもできるみたいですねぇ。でもこれは彼女が有名人だからバックにデキル弁護士とかしっかりついていたせいもあるのかなぁ。。。？一般人だときっと入国管理官なんかに問い詰められ、アメリカに入国する時にトコトン問いつめられて強制送還されそうな。。。そういう話結構聞くしなぁ。。。＞＜

Application Fee for K Visa Applicants
Effective June 4, 2010, the application fee for a K non-immigrant visa increased from $131 to $350.
Application Form DS-156
Form DS-156 must be filled out online and must have a barcode used for scanning the application. Handwritten and typed forms will not be accepted. Please complete this form online and make an extra copy (xeroxed copy). On the day of your interview, please submit two copies. Do not use the new application Form DS-160 for a K visa application.
