無事面接が終わってシアトルから帰ってきました☆
面接官のおじちゃんは親切で笑顔でした♪冗談も織り交ぜながらスムーズに面接終了！無事GCゲットできました。一大イベントが終わってホッと一息。。☆
私の面接時間は11:45から。早めに家を出たのでUSCISに着いたのは11時でした。受付には市民権の申請をしに来た人たち（50人位）で溢れ返っていて待ち時間を考えると恐ろしくなりましたが、AOSと市民権の受付ブースは全く異なるようです。「GCの面接で来ました」と言うとガラガラの受付窓口3番に行くように言われ、interview noticeのバーコードをスキャンしてもらった後2階に上がるように言われました。ちなみにinterview noticeには面接時間より45分前以上には来ないようにとの注意がありました。ギリギリセーフ！
時計が無かったのでよく分からないのですが、二階に置かれた椅子に座ること約1時間以上。。。やっと名前が呼ばれました。ところで、周りの申請者の人で4組もの人たちが「まだattorneyが来てなくて。。面接ちょっと待って下さい」って面接者に言っていました。。お金出してattorney雇って面接時間に遅れてくるってひどい〜！しかも、もちろんそれぞれ別のattorneyだったのに遅れていました。。
個別のオフィスに通され、Joelと共に並んで椅子に座りました。その後、起立して右手を挙げ真実を述べますという宣誓をします。まずはAOSの時に送った書類に記入した項目を面接官と一緒に確認し質問されます。面接官のおじちゃんは英語にほとんどアクセントがないけどインドかどこかからの移民だな〜って感じでした。ちなみにもと軍人さんで日本にもステイションされていたそう。
最初に、I-485を最初から見ながら、「名前は？」、「住所は？」みたいな基本事項でした。
その他の質問は。。：
「一緒に住んでいる人はだれか」
「一緒に住んでどれ位になるか」
「いつアメリカに入国したか」
「入国してからアメリカ国外に出たか」
「働いているか」→めっちゃしつこく何度も聞かれました！なぜ？？
「結婚したのはいつ？」「誰が結婚した時に来てくれた？」「その時の写真を見せて」→civil marriageだったので特別に写真は撮ってないと言うと、あっそ〜なのみたいな感じで問題無しでした。
「アメリカにはvisa waiverで来たことはあるか？」
「J-1でアメリカに来たのはいつか、何をしていたか」、「高校の何年生にどれくらいいたのか」
「NYの大学でのメジャーは？」→「心理学！？僕に催眠をかけるつもりだね。。」ってニヤって笑っていました笑
「いつから付き合っているのか」
「Joelの両親に会ったことはあるか」
「Joelは日本に来たことがあるか、私の両親に会ったことはあるか」
「いつJoelに会いに来たか」
「Joelは日本語が喋れるか？」→「イチ、ニ、サン、イチバン、アリガトウ、アイシテル」しか言えないのに「僕？ちょっとだけですけど喋れますよ！」って堂々と返答していたJoel。。笑 エッ！？って突っ込みたくなったけど、面接で怪しまれたらイヤなので吹き出しそうになるのをこらえてスルー。
「結婚生活はどうか？」→「もう最っ高で〜っす！！」って二人で答えました♪
何か他にも色々たくさん聞かれたけど、どの質問も簡単でイエスかノーで答える質問でした。「事実の再確認（○○って事で良かった？）」って感じで面接が終わりました。
Joelがアラスカ出身ということに食いついておっちゃんは白夜はどうかとか色々質問していました。アラスカの話でだいぶ二人で盛り上がっていました☆
面接時間は多分25分くらい？他の人たちもそれ位かかっているようでした。
bona fide relationshipを証明するために写真を提出するように求められました。
あと、共同財産を証明するもの何でも良いから2点出してと言われ、銀行のjoint accountsとヘルスケアの請求書（Joelの名前と私の名前、二人の関係が書かれていたので）を見せました。車の名義やアパートのlease agreementも変えるのが面倒でまだJoelの名前だけなのでヒヤヒヤしましたが、どうやら何でも良いから2点見せるのが合格ラインみたいです。
一応employment letterとかpay stubsを持って行ったけどまったく提出を求められませんでした。
戸籍抄本、marriage certificateなども全く見せる機会は無かったです。提出したのは両方のパスポート、両方の運転免許証、写真、joint bank accounts、ヘルスケアの請求書だけでもちろん全部手元に返ってきました。
最後に「30日経ってもGCが届かなかったらまたここに来なくちゃダメだからね〜」、「2013年の8月にGCが失効するので、2ヶ月前から更新できるから」、「二人の運転免許をコピーするからちょっと待っててね」、と言った話をして、ニコニコと笑顔で面接終了♪
ちなみに11時にオフィスに到着して出てきたのは12時45分！早く着いたせいもあるけど、それでも結構待ったんだな〜って思いました。
最後、おじちゃんに「今からUwajimayaに行って買い物してきます！」って言ったら「いいな〜！！前はUSCISのオフィスがUwajimayaのエリアにあったんだよ〜。僕も良く行ってたよ〜！」っておじちゃんが言ってました！前はあんな一等地にUSCISのオフィスがあったのね〜。
これでアメリカでも制約のぐっと少ない生活を送れるんやな〜って思ったら本当にスッキリ＆嬉しいです！！何か大げさですが新しい人生の始まりの様な気がします笑
とりあえず、申請から3ヶ月で許可されたし早くスムーズに済んで良かった♪♪

The USPS reported that your new document was delivered on August 13, 2011, directly to the address we had on file. If you did not receive your document, or have any questions, please call our customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.
